How to Accessorize Your Wedding Gown in a Beautiful Way

Without doubt, your look is at the top of your list of priorities as a bride – and we get it. How could anyone not understand just how unique this day is in the life of every lady, in the end?

Here at Marianne’s Bridal Outlet, we pride ourselves in making brides happy by providing them with a beautiful variety of dresses for them to choose from for their Big Day – so we definitely understand the importance of a special wedding gown.

We also understand that accessories can really go a long way, especially when it comes to making your dress and your natural beauty pop with grace and uniqueness. But what are the basic rules of choosing the best accessories for your Big Day?

We have gathered them right below, so read on and find out more.

· Cool toned and warm toned. There are three main categories of skin tone: cool tones, warm tones, and mixed tones. Cool tones always look best with cool toned metals, such as silver, platinum, palladium, or white gold. Warm tones look best with yellow gold and rose gold. And mixed tones look excellent with pretty much everything. Keep this in mind when choosing your jewelry!

· Furthermore, keep in mind that your jewelry should match your dress too – both in terms of color (e.g. cool toned metals work best with cool toned whites, like ivory or silvery white) and in terms of style. An elegant gown requires ultra-elegant jewelry, while a casual one can look splendid with simpler, perhaps even more rustic accessories.

· Your neckline! Your wedding dress’ neckline dictates the types of necklaces you can wear, as well as whether or not you should wear earrings too. For instance, a classic U-shaped neckline can look splendid with a statement necklace, while a high neck will require no necklace and a pair of very, very delicate earrings.

· Last, but definitely not least, remember to not overdo it. Less is, without doubt, more. And when it comes to the number of metals you can wear, the number one rule of elegance and style says that combining multiple types of metals can look extremely tacky – so you might want to stay away from that. Stick to one type of metal throughout your entire bridal look – from the earrings to the chain of your wedding purse.
